Booking policies at
Chalets-Village
Booking policy:
A 25% first payment is required to
secure your reservation for cottages 5 bedrooms or less. It is a 50%
payment for any house during the Holiday Season and all year long for
houses 6 bedrooms or more.
This amount can be paid using Mastercard, Visa, bank transfer, Money Order or by
personal check from a North American bank.
The balance payment for your group's stay is due
by check 30 days prior to your arrival at
the chalet. If not paid, we will have to consider that
you have decided to cancel your reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
If a cancellation happens prior to arrival, the amount already
paid is not reimbursed. You have to understand that from the moment you
reserve a chalet, we do not offer it to anybody else: we block it for
you and refuse potential guests.
But, if the cancellation happens for a major reason (death, accident,
or anything similar) a few days prior to arrival, the amount is not
reimbursed but can be applied to another reservation at a time of your
choice (in the next 2 years), depending on availability.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of up to $2000 dollars per chalet may be required
and is payable on your arrival date in cash, by VISA or MASTERCARD.
This amount will be reimbursed by mail, VISA or MASTERCARD one week
later at the most if no damage occurs. If a credit card is used, the
owner of the credit card must proceed himself for the transaction in our
office.
Our ''Snow Guaranteed'' policy!
If you book one of our chalets next winter and there is no skiing when
you are about to come, we will reimburse you the rental price of your
house if you decide not to come at the last minute! Or, if you wish, we
will apply that rental price to another date of your choice.
Group of friends,
graduations
For high school graduations or for young adults wishing to book in
June, a parent or teacher must have a written agreement to supervise
the group for the length of the stay.
Instructions on the houses
As group organiser you are responsible of knowing how everything
functions in the house and to share it with your group. The
information is in the house binder as well as in the
Organiser's guide
Furniture moved
You are welcomed to move furniture in your house at
your arrival providing that you put everything back at the same
place before leaving. If not so, we will have to charge you a fee
for the additional work
Before leaving your house on day of departure
It is very much appreciated by our cleaning team and
we thank you in advance if you have time to place used sheets,
pillow cases and towels by the washing machine when you leave your
house.
For your security and
responsibility, never leave a fireplace alone with heat in it.
