The Mont-Sainte-Anne region offers a vast network of hiking
trails, accessible to all categories of people.
The moutain hiking trails cover a total distance of more
than 25 kilometres. Those at the bottom of the mountain, located mainly
along the Jean-Larose river and waterfall, cover 6 kilometres. And the
renowned Mestashibo trail, starting at Mont Ste-Anne, stretches along the
Sainte-Anne river for 11 kilometres.

Le Mestachibo » follows the course of the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord river
for the most of its lenght. It reveals a most unusual and impressive
landscape, previously not accessible to hikers. The jagged landscape makes
for a challenging hike. You will discover a very mature forest punctuated by
landslides and rocky peaks. At mid-course, two lookouts have been installed
to allow for a for a fantastic view of the river's canyon. Forther along ,
two suspension bridges, each measuring 70 meters, will get you across the
river and take your breath away.
